As part of the official charter school application process, the Washington State Charter School Commission will be hosting public forums this month to hear directly from the prospective school founders and to learn more about the educational needs of their communities.
For: The Ducere Group's emerging charter school, The Village Academy When: January 23, 2014 from 6:00-7:00 Where: Bates Technical College South Campus
Please join The Ducere Group at a Washington State Charter School Commission sponsored community forum on January 23 to support our emerging charter school, The Village Academy. Tell the state charter commissioners that charters empower parents to choose the best public education option for their student.
Come hear directly from our prospective school founders and to learn more about how we intend to meet the educational needs of our community.
Stand with us to speak up for the 1 in 50 students with autism, the 1 in 10 students with ADHD, the 1 in 6 students with other developmental disabilities, and the 2% that are labeled talented and gifted.
Speak up for students that are part of military families, single parent homes, those in the foster care system and those who have other life situations that impede learning. Stand up for teachers who are pleading for autonomy and administrators who can change the world without political red tape tethering their genius. We will change the world of education for these students, their teachers and administrators, but first the state charter commissioners need to hear from YOU!
Parents, families and community leaders, come speak about why it’s so important to bring more high-quality public school options to our state.
