Participants ages 12-18 will have the opportunity to learn how to plan a menu, to cook a variety of dishes (including appetizers, entrees, sides, deserts, salads, and delicious beverages), to plate and serve their dishes to an audience, and will gain knowledge in food safety and proper handling/preparation of food. Participants in this course will graduate with a food handlers permit. Classes for this program begin January 9 and end on February 14, 2018. Class times are Tuesday and Thursday 4:30-6:30 pm, with the addition of Monday, February 12 and Wednesday, February 14. Cost of this program is $200 + 25 supply fee.
